Guwahati places White Lotus Crafts inside one of the richest craft regions in the country. Handloom textiles, indigenous weaves, bamboo, cane, natural fibre products, woodcraft and tribal traditions run through every state in the region.
Production here remains household and community based. Craft traditions stay tied to local identity, natural resources and indigenous knowledge. Skill levels are high. Organised market access is thin.
